Simultaneous eqns

Okay, I'm no sure, but I THINK that you treat the power of x-1 and 2y or whatever, as x and y, so just do the simultaneous equations normally.

Or, and I'm also not sure about this, reciprocal it?? And then multiply by the denominator to make it integers? I have no clue.

Ok here's a hint. Think of the numbers 3 and 2 how can you simply the equation so they contain these numbers!

Alright so i heres what i did.

I got both equations to have the same base numbers so i could deal with them, and i ended up with these new ones.


then i just used the indices rules to clean the equations up.


Then.. i don't know.
